From 1985 to 1991 he worked at “Coopers & Lybrand S.p.A.” (now PricewaterhouseCoopers – one of the major international auditing companies), till the role of audit manager. He performed his audit activity for clients active in both the manufacturing and trade market, as well as for clients active in the financial business, with a solid exposure also to the audit of the consolidated financial statements. Some of his clients were listed at the Italian stock market. In his role of audit manager, he was responsible for several M&A operations investigation and due diligence for well known multinational corporations.
During his professional activity, he gained solid and proven skills within subject matters like: corporate taxation (both domestic and international), corporate Financial Statements carried out under both Italian GAAP and IAS/IFRS, M&A, companies’ appraisal, corporate contracts etc..
He was member of the National Study Committee within the Italian Council of Chartered Accountants, regarding the subject matter “Financial Statements and Consolidated Financial Statements pursuant to D.Lgs. 127/91”.
He was associate Professor of General Accounting and Auditing at the Forlì campus of Economics and Accounting, branch of the University of Bologna.
